Kristy has a classic mask squeeze. As a diver descends in the water column, the surrounding pressure is greater that the pressure in the dive mask creating basically a suction. This action has caused bruising much in the same way as giving some a hickey! It will heal quickly and some over the counter eye drops to keep the eyes moist will help with any discomfort.

I hope all goes well. I’m sure Kristy will be fine in a few days.
