This is a place built by local artist Veijo Rönkkönen (died in 2010), who built this park to his own yard, letting all people visit there for free. He was introvert and rarely seen by the visitors. My childhood home is located one kilometer from the place so I naturally visited it several times, but never saw Veikko. And it’s actually located in Parikkala, not in Imatra. And here’s the website of the park: http://www.patsaspuisto.net/the-parikkala-sculpture-park/
Hi Johannes, thank you so much for this useful info 😉
