Some people have questionable taste, but an impressive ability to pull off ideas that should never have left the drawing board. These examples of awful taste, great execution, and ridiculous creations prove that bad ideas can look surprisingly brilliant when someone puts enough effort into them. The results are strange, bold, and occasionally difficult to explain without raising a few eyebrows.
There is something oddly satisfying about seeing terrible design choices carried out with absolute confidence. The planning might be questionable, the style completely chaotic, and the final result gloriously absurd. Yet the craftsmanship deserves a little respect. Good taste clearly wasn’t invited to this party, but nobody seems particularly bothered by its absence.
