History is full of inventions that never quite took off, even though some probably deserved a chance.
From glowing tires designed to make night driving safer to chopsticks that cool your noodles as you eat, plenty of creative ideas never made it past the prototype stage. Then there are the bizarre ones, like a face mask with a hole for smoking, because why not? Of course, some inventions were doomed from the start, like shoes equipped with hairdryers or a bicycle with square wheels. Practical? Not at all. Entertaining? Absolutely. While these quirky concepts never became mainstream, they do make you wonder what other oddball ideas were left behind. Who knows, maybe one day, a forgotten invention will make a surprise comeback and change the game. After all, plenty of things we use today were once considered strange. Until then, we’ll just have to imagine a world where we’re riding square-wheeled bikes with glowing tires while drying our hair with our sneakers.
