In Italy, a unique wooden hut-pub bar, featuring a 1970 VW Beetle, has been put up for auction. The seller is asking for 20-30 thousand euros for this distinctive Holzhaus car.
This remarkable vehicle is designed as a traditional chalet, complete with a sofa, dining table, and kitchenette equipped with a gas hob. The interior is decorated with paintings and a cuckoo clock, creating an authentic alpine atmosphere. The front seats are crafted as wooden chairs, with the steering wheel and gear lever also made of wood, and an inverted table leg serving as the gear lever.
The car’s body panels are made of metal, with bumpers painted to resemble wood. The exterior is adorned with alpine landscape depictions. Powered by a 1.6-liter engine producing 47 horsepower, this mobile hut has traveled 73,200 kilometers.
