On May 10, RM Sotheby’s will put under the hammer a highly exclusive McLaren Senna GTR, extensively reworked by renowned British outfit Lanzante. This unique machine is part of the limited LM25 project, a tribute to McLaren’s legendary win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the F1 GTR. With extremely low mileage and a one-off spec, the car is estimated to fetch between €1.4 and €1.6 million.
As part of the LM25 series, Lanzante reimagined seven McLaren vehicles, with just a single Senna GTR included in the lineup. This particular example is wrapped in exposed carbon fiber and styled to echo the iconic Le Mans-winning McLaren F1, featuring similar paintwork, race number, and livery details.
Inside, the transformation continues with custom carbon-fiber bucket seats, racing harnesses, and a redesigned steering wheel each component inspired by the original F1 GTR’s cockpit.
Despite retaining its original powertrain, Lanzante succeeded in shaving off 41 kilograms from the car’s weight. While the standard Senna GTR is a track-only machine, this example has been road-legalized for use in the UK. As of September last year, it had clocked just 1,731 kilometers.
