A unique advertisement has surfaced on the National Auto Brokers portal featuring a Lamborghini Diablo replica crafted from a rare 1987 Pontiac Fiero. Known for its mid-engine layout, the Pontiac Fiero is a popular choice among American DIY enthusiasts for replicating famous supercars. In this case, the wheelbase has been extended, all body panels, lights, and wheels have been replaced, and a small trunk has been added to the rear. The car has also been converted into a convertible.
The builder of this replica has gone above and beyond typical projects by also upgrading the interior. The iconic supercar’s front panel has been replicated, new instruments installed, and the transmission tunnel redesigned. The car is powered by a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, with Koni shock absorbers enhancing the suspension.
Despite its impressive transformation, the car has some issues. Only the speedometer works, and the headlights and parking brake are non-functional. Nevertheless, the ad indicates that a buyer for this distinctive roadster has been found.
